HCV Valve Features
We offer our HCV and DOV mechanical sealing Chromatic valves as alternates to expanding gates, expanding plugs, and a direct fit replacement of Orbits in a multitude of services. The Chromatic Industries process valves use our innovative quarter turn top entry inline repairable/interchangeable cartridge design that allow a quick in-field repair to reduce downtime to minutes and lower fugitive emissions.
The video link below is for our HCV valve that has been replacing Orbit and General Twin Seal style valves in a multitude of services, including high temperature services, Control valve on flare lines, mole sieve service, brine well storage, hot asphalt and Sulfur services, liquid, or gas service block valves where a mechanical seal is needed, mining applications . The top entry cartridge design allows a rapid in-field repair without having to remove the valve body from line to replace the seats. No special tools or training is needed to make repairs. Quarter turn stem for lower ISO 15848-1 fugitive emissions.
